Since graduating from ISM, I have settled down and continued focusing on my private businesses and corporate work life as a Non-Executive Director at FBN Holdings Plc. My education at ISM has added value by broadening my perspective on handling strategic issues that arise within my private businesses in hospitality, real estate, insurance broking, and investment banking. It has also deepened the value I deliver at FBN Holdings Plc, where I serve as the Chairman of the Board Finance and Investment Committee. Most importantly, the PhD experience has prepared me for more rigorous academic pursuits, such as writing articles and lecturing.
Which professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
Completing my PhD at ISM 15 years after my initial registration. A lesson in perseverance and doggedness, indeed.
What were some of the most impactful experiences or lessons you learned during your time at ISM?
My exposure to courses in Corporate Entrepreneurship and the value it creates when used to drive organizational performance and the transformation of a large and diverse workforce.
How has the global perspective you gained at ISM influenced your professional and personal life?
I would summarize the impact as follows: It has made me think big, deeply, and internationally as I apply innovation to the various projects I am involved in.
