I am an entrepreneur, executive coach, and trainer, and a seasoned professional with over two decades of international experience in the fields of marketing, communications, and corporate leadership. I have served in senior leadership roles across various organizations, including as Head of Marketing & Communications at State Bank of Mauritius and as Head of Marketing & Corporate Affairs at Barclays Bank Mauritius, with a secondment to Barclays Dubai HQ.

I am currently CEO of The Concreate Agency (TCA), a full-service marketing communications agency in Mauritius. I hold an MPhil in Management Coaching as well as an MPhil in Development Finance, both from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. I am a Fellow of The Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIOD) as well as a member of the Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA). I have extensive board-level experience and have served in various leadership roles.

A committed community leader, engaged in Rotary International for over 20 years, I am the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Bagatelle. My extensive board-level experience and dedication to serving my community underscore my commitment to leadership and excellence.

In the quest to pursue a doctoral program, I was attracted to ISM’s DBA offering for many years until I finally made the call to apply. I have since enjoyed every minute of my enrollment, both from the DBA content and format point of view and the international nature of the ISM DBA program. It suited my expectations totally.

What has been your most memorable experience at ISM so far?

Attending in-person classes in Paris and meeting other participants from around the world during the class sessions as well as during the networking sessions at nice locations in Paris.

How do you think ISM is helping you achieve your career goals?

As a working executive and an entrepreneur leading a group of people, skills acquired at ISM have helped shape my thinking and critical skills as well as broadened my global outlook. Interaction with faculty and students alike has played a key role in this respect. Applying learnings, exposure, and experience gained to actual business contexts is a clear outcome of my ISM education.

What are your future aspirations after completing your program at ISM?

I would like to be a proud ambassador and alumnus of ISM and pursue the development of my agency in Mauritius and East Africa. I would also like to give back and become a visiting faculty member at ISM.
